Known issues & what's next

This page is the feedback loop. Report something (in-app Feedback button, Discord, Reddit) and it shows up here: first as a known issue, then as fixed. Updated as things land.

Known issues

  • Marvel Super Heroes ratings run on draft data only. No full game-replay data from 17Lands yet, so MSH ratings are seeded from pick order and maindeck rate. They'll recalibrate automatically when game data lands. The set picker badges this.
  • The model likes removal a little more than winning drafters do. Simulated pools run slightly more removal than real 5+ win pools. Known, measured, and the fix is structural (not a quick tune), so it's queued rather than patched.
  • Mana-producing creatures score a touch low in draft. Same class of issue as above: the count-based carrots need per-set direction, which is a planned rework.
  • Strixhaven auto-builds run leaner mana fixing than real winning decks. If you'd keep a fixing land the builder cut, that's useful feedback: tell us which one.

Next up

  • The Hobbit, day one. When it hits Arena (~Aug 11-14), we plan to have it drafting-ready the day spoilers land: model ratings first, upgraded in place as real 17Lands data arrives. Confidence tier shown on the set picker, as always.
  • Arena overlay. A desktop overlay that scores picks inside the MTGA client, Untapped-style, with one-click deck build. In development.
  • Known-issues intake. Anything testers report during launch week gets triaged onto this page.

Recently fixed

  • 2026-07-27: auto-build no longer splashes a color it can't actually cast. Two mana-math bugs, same root: a 3-mana artifact that taps for any color was counted as a real source for a one-mana spell (it isn't, you're three turns late), and the check that refuses cheap off-color cards only looked at double-pip costs, so a single-pip one-drop walked straight past it. Reported on r/lrcast, where a pool with two white cards was building into white on a handful of Plains. Rebuilding that pool shape, it now stays two colors with none. (Reported by a user, and they were right.)
  • 2026-07-26: dual-land pick values audited against 1500 real winning drafts per set: found and fixed two real bugs (a conditional-land scoring leak, and practice packs dealing the wrong number of dual lands), then verified the tuned values now match how winning drafters actually take fixing.
  • 2026-07-26: Arena-style drafting on phones. The pack is now a compact art grid with score badges, tap a card for its full breakdown, swipe to compare the next pick, and commit with a real Pick button. Rotate to landscape for a wider grid with the scorecard docked beside it.
  • 2026-07-26: first real mobile pass. Deck cards are readable list rows on phones, the header gets out of your way when you scroll, tap any card for its score breakdown, and the filter panel tucks behind a toggle. (Reported by a user, and they were right.) More polish coming; if your phone still fights you, tell us the model.
  • 2026-07-23: deckbuilder no longer overflows the viewport on narrow screens.
  • 2026-07-23: score-driver bars no longer show a "-0.00" label.
  • 2026-07-23: "Regenerate Auto Built Deck" is now instant when the pool hasn't changed.

Spotted something wrong? The Feedback button in the draft app goes straight to the dev. "This pick score is nonsense because X" is exactly the kind of report we want.
